JROTC Army Instructor (NCO)
Missouri Military Academy is seeking a Junior Army ROTC Instructor to provide appropriate learning experiences and educational opportunities for each student assigned to the program.
This position requires teaching LET curriculum, assess and encourage student progress, and manage the learning environment. Instruction in drill, ceremonies, and principles of leadership and management required. Candidate must have an Associate’s Degree or higher and be able to obtain certification from US Army Cadet Command.
The ideal candidate must be committed to the academic and social/emotional growth of students. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency using digital and online platforms for remote instruction as well as classroom teaching. Faculty members serve in a wide capacity across the campus including: sponsoring clubs, participating in student life activities, as academic advisors, and chaperoning field trips. Being able to work collaboratively with fellow faculty members and residential staff is critical for this position. Candidates should be realistic and excited about the challenges and rewards of teaching and working in a boarding school environment.
