Director of Franklin Student Assistance Center
New Mexico Military Institute announces a vacancy for a full-time, 12-month position for Director of Franklin Student Assistance Center. Under the general supervision of the Vice Dean/High School Principal, this position is responsible for the leadership, supervision and administrative support, planning, implementation and evaluation of the high school academic counseling services. The Director of Franklin Student Assistance Center requires supervision of the professional school counseling team, support staff, budget administration, formulation of unit policies and procedures, assesses and maintains efficient and effective operating procedures that include on-going staff training and the delivery of optimal academic counseling services to all students. This position is responsible for the implementation and instruction of college prep classes based on the American School Counselor Association National Model (ASCA).
A thorough working knowledge of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model is required. Applicant must possess a Master’s Degree from an accredited university and meet licensure requirements in school counseling as defined by the State of New Mexico. Annual Salary DOE: $55,000 – $62,000. Excellent benefits available.
